If you're a lover of old buses, you gotta see this one:

David, what a nostalgic piece of Iconic art. It surely is a classic
all ready for new journeys for its new owners. If it were up to me
I'd buy it, put on a vintage greyhounds drivers uniform of its time
and say "All Aboard, next stop Cucamonga" (lol).

To me, it looks like a Custom Coach (Columbus Oh) interior.

Someone apparently told the owner that the interior was done

by Coachworks (whoever they are). Custom Coach has a long

history of bus conversions and converted several GM's and

Flxible in the 50's and 60's. The latches and aluminum trimmed

cabinet doors all scream out Custom Coach. Beautiful, and

in many ways more sensible than my LXi interior.

David,

As an LXi owner, I was very nearly insulted by your last comment until I remembered where they hid the flush handle on my toilet.

Ya gotta love those old buses. Reminds me of Morgan Freeman's ride near the end of the Shawshank Redemption. George Burke 1977 FC31 Charlotte

One of the first conversions of a 1948 PD3751 (Greyhound) was done for
the President of U.S. Steel either in 1958 or 1959. I'm not sure if
Custom Coach did that work or not - I believe if memory serves - that
they did that conversion. It was frequently seen on the PA Turnpike.

The buzz during that time period was that this car "actually had a
shower!" During those days, I was driving for Continental Trailways.
Drove some interesting coaches.
