Toad towing
Well today was the undocking of my little toad (Subaru Wagon). It
went all well except that I noticed when I came to a complete stop and had to make a sharp right hand turn 90 degrees that the frount tires would not track and stayed in the turning position after I completed my turn. I was a bit concerned but after the next stop sign I turn right again but made a bigger sweap of my turning radius and no problems. So I just haft to remember to make my turns from a stopped position a little wider and more even than when I'm not towing this little Subaru. Other than that it towed really well and its nice to have such a nice light car to conserve fuel and also have four wheel drive. Jon |

Peace and Luv Jon, what kind of Subie you have. I got a '04 Forester with turbo
but the automatic don't tow. I got to hang an electric pump on it. Great cars for sure. Toad towing
Well this one I bought at auction two weeks ago and I kind of stole it. This car
auction that I go to are from car dealerships around the area. The reason the dealers take them to the auctions are that they usually have lots of miles and are hard to turnover as used cars in their bussiness.. This one that I got had 184,000 on but it has a new rebuilt japeness engine in it that was installed at 148,000 miles and how do I know that? I found a little memo book in the car underneath the seat and it was a ledger of what the previous owner had done to this Subie. So I stole it for $550 and installed new towing gear on the frount end and got a tow bar from a friend all for under a $1000.00. Not bad! Well life is good and I thank god for all that he does for me and my family.Jon. Mike Hohnstein <MHOHNSTEIN@...> wrote: Peace and Luv Jon, what kind of Subie you have.
