Bird Owner Needs Help!!
I just got a call from Eddie Ray in FL- He has a 40' 1998 LX with the Cummins
450 HP engine. The coach suspension is aired up, but the parking brake will not release. I'm not familiar with this chassis, so I can't be of too much help. If someone out there has experienced this, or knows how to get him going, please give him a call on his cell phone at 954-815-4866. A road mechanic already tried bypassing the air dryer, but that did not work. Shane Fedeli 85PT40 Hershey, PA |

I am just a wannabee but have owned a lot of trucks, if by parking brake he means air operated spring brakes if he
can get to them they can be released by hand to be able to take it to a shop, it is however work to release them by hand it is a hell of a spring!
