Ernie:

Think outside the box. There are carpet wholesalers in every major city. Home
depots and carpet stores everywhere. You dont need the flooring, just the sample
books. "Have kicker will travel"

Ernie,

Just a thought but have you tried advertising on Craigs List? I don't believe it
costs anything. I found my pickup there and a lot of people seem to use the
service.

Yes, I am on Craigslist, rvforum, all the forums in regards to birds, and the Monaco forum. There has been some response. Things may turn around. Thank you for thinking of me.

I do have a few samples from years ago when Brenda and I had a retail carpet store. Got rid of the store when the big box stores came into town.
I may be planning a trip to the west coast in the near future.

Problem with traveling is there needs to be interest from more than
just one person to make it work. I'd like to have Ernie replace the
kitchen in my coach, but I can't afford his fuel bill or airplane
ticket to get him out here just to do one little job!

Ernie, I don't have to tell you how bad things are in the construction industry. My nephew is a finish carpenter in the tide water area of Va., and his business has been hit hard as well. Have you thought of cking. with the folks near Houston, (is it Livingston) where a bunch of RV types winter and full time there. At least you wouldn't have to leave the state. I may move there myself one of these days. Best Regards and Good Luck, George Burke 1977FC31 Charlotte

John, I'm staying away from tile as to the warranty issues of cracking tile, grout coming loose,,etc. I'm sticking with what I know that won't have call back issues. There are individuals well versed in tile that may help you. Unfortunately, I do not know them. Sorry, I would love to help you.
