help
I need help or information for my mechinic Joe is in the hospital and
when he went to start the engine the black container puked on the drive side.. I think it is the power steering and the hydraulic fan unit. It did this in a cold start. what is causing this?? and what is the fix for this?? Marge 1984 1/2 PT40 |

It might be overfilled or the filter inside (3 of them) might be
plugged. Top needs to come off and check the filters. thanks for the information. I thought their is one filter in there and
never needs to be changed because the oil does not it contaminated. you are talking about three?? I guess I will have the mechanic see whats in there do you have any literature or know where I can get some?? I called BB but they have not phone me back yet. thanks marge 1984 1/2 PT40 |

Assuming you need the same...I purchased the filters from Bluebird back in 11 of 2006. ..3 each BB# 2138246 that replace the 3 filters in the big canister; 1 each BB# 2138261 that replaces the gasket on the big canister lid. 1 each BB# 2122026 that replaces the high pressure canister filter; 1 each O-ring BB# 2137024 for the high pressure canister. The high pressure canister is located forward of the drivers side mud flap and just behind the tag axle. Hope this helps. Ralph, etal.
Good Sam is sending a mechanic out to replace my front air suspension valve that decided to give way as I loaded 8 people on board for a trip to Kansas. I hope he can fix it. If anyone knows the type of valve or part number, it would save us some time. Second problem, toilet air not working again. I know there is a 12v compressor..and mine doesn't seem to be working right now. But I wonder if the loss of air up front is related. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks. The 2 air systems are totally separate. Don't have the number for the Lxi or Lx ride height valve nor the suspension dump valve. (Not the small yellow one up front, that is suspension pilot air.) The 12V pump for the tiolet is probably a Denver Thomas WOB-L pump. Here's a link to their listing of all their WOB-L pumps: http://www.gd-thomas.com/productSubCateg...v&tc=10698 It's probably a model 405, about half way down the page. There is a rebuild kit available from one of their distributors. It may have burned up the brushes, like mine did. I have a Thomas "pancake" pump for my microphor toilet. These pumps seem to last forever. Now, this is very elementary, but on my pump, there is a on-off toggle switch that is really in the way if you move stuff in and out of the bay where it is located. Right after I got my bird, the "toilet stopped working". I bought a rebuild kit for the regular and installed it and it didn't work either. I called microphor and the nice folk asked me to check the toggle switch. Much to my chagrin I had apparently bumped the switch to "off". Oh, well stupid me, at least I have a new regulator. Always something! Tommy. And by the way, I'm not very "learned" more stupid and dumb, just trying to get through the BB learning curve. |

I have the same compressor -- and I find it remarkable that the switch was installed in a "convenient" hole in the metal "wire organizer" it is placed on. The toggle switch is black plastic against the black background of the metal base. Practically invisible, until you know where to look.
I know this because, I, too, managed to flip it off accidently when I placed some spare fuel/oil filters on the shelf next to the compressor -- fortunately, I discovered the switch when I was closely looking at the compressor to discover what was wrong...
