Ride height valve & Air Dryer

GOOD IDEA ON REPLACING THE REAR END OIL,,, I HAD FORGOTTEN ABOUT
THAT,,, WHAT BRAND, AND WHERE DO YOU FIND YOUR SYNTHETIC REAR END OIL???

Had a ride height valve linkage break on the coach. While working the
valve manually decided it was defective. Replaced the valve with a new
one from truck store and ordered a new piece of linkage with new swivle
ends from BB. total time to replace about 45 minutes and total cost
$65.00. While under the coach and somewhat dirty decided it was time to
replace the dryer filter. Took it completely out and put it on the
bench cleaned it up and replaced filter and 0 rings. total time for
this about 2 hours and total cost $37.00. All work's good now. Next
project is to replace the rear-end fluid. My books says to replace it
yearly given the miles I drive the coach, I believe it also says that
if you drive under 6 thousand miles a year to replace it twice a
year!!! I'll replace it with the 85-140 wt. synthetic again. Great day
here in the heart land, good rain last night and crops are looking good

Dan: On my 93 it take's right at 16qts. I buy the 5gal. bucket and
then I have a pump that goes on it in place of the lid.. On my last
post I said that they recommend changing fluid twice a year if driven
under 6,000 miles. I meant to say twice a year if driven under 60,000

Thanks Bob. On another matter, my wife, Barb and I plan to go to S. Padre at
Christmas time for a week or two (we are still working), and will have some
questions for you as we get closer. We have never been there but thought it
would be an escape from winter without the crowd in Florida.
