Ron's Coach
I talked with Prevost Car in Ft. Worth today. They have finally finished and
road tested my coach, but they have a supplemental bill to submit to the insurance company. I'm going to bet that it will take up to another week for me to get my hands on the coach. Prevost said if I wanted to pay the extra, I could come get the coach. I told them no way. It is the responsibility of the insurance company to take care of it. R.E. (Ron) Marabito, Dallas, TX 92WB40 Still waiting on coach |

No doubt Wallace. By the way, the insurance adjuster called me about an hour
ago and everything is approved. They will pay Prevost direct on the extra and I will give them a check for the balance, since I have the check from the insurance company in my hands. I will pick the coach up in the morning and then check a series of systems before I ever drive it off the lot. When I'm satisfied, I'll head for home. Can you believe it has been 2.5 months? R.E. did you find what caused the damage? could you ask the Canadians if the engine
failure last year was caused by a short? Greg of Tim&Greg 94ptca 10,000 cash bond deductible liability/comp --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "ronmarabito2002" wrote: > > No doubt Wallace. A main positive cable in behing the batteries had apparently been rubbing for a
long time and finally shorted. Unless you pulled the battery trays out and inspected the cables, there was no way to see this problem. Engine loss was due to the loss of a sleeve seal or head seal. No way to know why it failed. At least they didn't know. There are not many shops that are good with forensics. R.E. Thanks I'm gonna check that today. I noticed the grommet on my truck batterybox
is around the cables and I never considered the danger until now. I think I will can the grommet and sleve the cables with a split hydrolic line. Forensics help keep history from repeating its self. The favor of a conclusive forensic stray voltage engine failure would be a retroactive insurance claim. argument could be partial reimbursement?????? I might add that I recently lost a claim for $8,500. in court for a web developers return of deposit for his breach of contract. I never dug a swimming pool wrong so I am learning the limits of my ability.
