Gauge lights will not come on
Does anyone know if there is a fuse for the gauge lights. The blue trim light
also does not come on. I was going to just run 12 volt positive wire and attach it to one of the gauge light wires. Any help will be appreciated. This is on a 1994 40ft. Thanks Nelson |

Nelson
First thought is the dash dimmer switch was turned down.

DO NOT attach 12 volt dc directly to the dash
the dash runs on weird cycle high voltage ac. The dc is inverted to this by 4 inverters under the dash check the grounds on the system then the rheostat controlling the dash check for 12 volt dc going into the inverters (Small Blue Cubes marked high voltage) --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "Fred Hulse" > > Nelson > First thought is the dash dimmer switch was turned down. > > Fred & Jeanne Hulse > Morristown Arizona > 1997 Wanderlodge WLWB41 > |

Wanderlodge put in a large inverter in my 94pt in the genset rad bay. on the
forward wall, left . they look like a brick, white color I found one died and I used the other one to run all the lights. the rheostats control the 12 v into the brick inverters test that the rheostat control has 12V to the input and then test that it is a voltage sliding scale on the output as wou rotatte the knob. then I would test that the voltage output is getting to the inverter then test the ac output of the inverter. I tested my el light by lighting them up with ac electric from a pepboys inverter. Gauge lights will not come on
bad ground if they both went off at the same time
Stephen 97BMC37 --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, nelson slinkman > > Ã > Thanks for all the help. I will check tomorrow on the inverter. I did make sure both rheostats were all the way clockwise. I will look for the inverters tomorrow. I did find one wire loose wire. It was a black shielded cable hanging near the rheostats but did not see any place where it would of attached to. I think the other end goes somewhere towards the front of the bus. I will have to take the front off tomorrow and try to find it. It's strange that both the dash & gauge lights went off at the same time. > Thanks for the help. > I will let you know what I find tomorrow. > Nelson SLinkman > > > --- On Mon, 11/9/09, gregory O > > > From: gregory O > Subject: [WanderlodgeForum] Re: Gauge lights will not come on > To: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com > Date: Monday, November 9, 2009, 9:28 AM > > > Ã > > > > Wanderlodge put in a large inverter in my 94pt in the genset rad bay. on the forward wall, left . they look like a brick, white color > > I found one died and I used the other one to run all the lights. the rheostats control the 12 v into the brick inverters > > test that the rheostat control has 12V to the input and then test that it is a voltage sliding scale on the output as wou rotatte the knob. then I would test that the voltage output is getting to the inverter then test the ac output of the inverter. > > I tested my el light by lighting them up with ac electric from a pepboys inverter. > > Greg > 94ptca > > --- In WanderlodgeForum@ yahoogroups. com, "cape0001" > > > > DO NOT attach 12 volt dc directly to the dash > > the dash runs on weird cycle high voltage ac.
