Entry door weather seal

My entry door weather seal is shot, pieces starting to fall off.

A search turned up a thread by Stephen Birtles in August about some M450 door
seals he had acquired, and there was an open question about what else they might
work for. I called him, and they are definitely not right for my coach. So the
starting point is to describe what I have. I couldn't get a picture to show it
adequately, so I'm trying a drawing instead. There are two "wipers" with a
shorter one that goes in to the frame and a longer one that contacts the edge of
the frame:

First question: has anyone found a replacement for these?

Second question: is this the same as your coach/year/model? If so, are you in
need of replacement?

The second question(s) are important if there is no answer to the first one.
Enough demand and Stephen can probably get something made.

Back when I replaced the one on my SP36, Holland Motor Homes in San Diego had a whole roll of it.(500ft. I think)

Also you may look at the Orr & Orr catalog.

I used some that I found at O'reilly's 5 yrs ago now. Still sealing just fine.

This looks like the same cross section that my door is sealed with. I need to
replace mine at this time. I sure would be interested if you find a source.

If there is a source it apparently would have to be one of the old-line BB
dealers like Holland or Bleakley.

Consensus seems to be that changing to a bulb-type seal is better than stock -
the stock is a bit too thick and requires door slamming to close.

Randy says he uses the double-d channel and separates it to use one side. Since
I'm unlikely to be around an HD or Lowes for several months I ordered this one

A final report on the door weatherseal:

After putting a new bushing (bought locally, but this is the same Help 38424:

striker bolt and moving the bolt as far inward as possible while still getting a
good, relatively easy, latch, the

weatherstrip used on the long edge pulled in tight enough to make a good seal.

I was not satisfied with the seal at the top or bottom, so I salvaged enough
good pieces of the original to do both. A complete piece taken from the long
edge for the top, and a single-splice piece for the bottom. The original
adhesive was double-sided foam tape, which was not difficult to remove from the
rubber and then use a new piece of the same.

I did not contact any of the old-line Wanderlodge dealers to see if they have
any of the original seal or not. Someone suggested that Holland in San Diego
might, and Stephen Birtles thought Bleakley might. If anyone does find some
there are are probably several here who would like to know who, and how much it
cost.
