How High ?
Our FC will just clear a 12 foot door if the air suspension is dropped. The
models you're interested in are somewhat taller.

How High ?
Hi All

Don't have one yet but close (BB)...in fact I'm having a metal bulding
put up just so it will have a place to rest when I'm home. What I
would like to know is what is the hight of a 1997-2000 Bird? I ordered
a 12x12ft door.

Thanks

Who ever you are...please sign your posts with your name, bus yr/model
when you get your BB, and your location. Thanks.

FWIW...the 87' PT38 stands about 140" with the low profile AC units on
the roof. Add the TracVision and it's about 146". We'd need a 14' door.
Go with the 14' door and you should be good.

You can get it in a 12'. I would go 14' wide. 14x14 if you have room.

How High ?
We built a large metal building last year in Yuma to house our
85PT36, and all my other toys. The door, for the coach, is 12' wide
by 16' high. It almost feels like it could have been at least a
foot wider. At least it seems that way when I am backing in
(grin). I was looking at it the other day, and with a 16' high
door, it will almost allow the coach to fit out with the old TV
antenna up, just in case your's truly does something stupid. I
would not go with anything less than 14'

We have a 1000 sq ft garage with a 14 x 14 door. Ain't too wide NOR too
tall. It's a good sized back in target.

i did not know you could get one with a hoist,,, i was thinking
about trying to fix up some kind of a lift on the back, just so i could get up
and down from the roof, since i have bad knees, it is impossible for me to
get up there. i guess that tire probably weighs more than my 150 lbs, or close
to it.
thanks for the info. day jax fla 83 pt-40
