washer/dryer install
Has anyone added plumbing and electrical for a washer/dryer when it wasn't originally plumbed in the Bird?  If so, where would you take it to get the work done?  I would really like to have one and have figured out that if I remove the drawer units in the main closet in the bath, it should fit.  i can send pictures of what is under the flooring in there if that would help with ideas.

Thanks.

Jana, can you send me some photos to refresh my memory? Ask Mike to take some measurements, also. Thanks, Ernie

I have done it. In my case the w/d went into the closet above the drawers (don't
know if yours is like it or not). Very tight fit, with a number of mods to make
it work. The blackwater vent runs up the corner of my closet, and was plumbed
into for the drain. The water and electricity already run along the wall behind
the drawers. I cut a 16x16-inch square hole in the closet floor to make it
easier to work on. Put the wood back in when done.

I did most of the work myself, but was working with an RV repair shop for advice
and some items of help.

I"m sorry to say that this was one task I didn't photo-document. An after-photo

Hi Ernie,
I am going to try to attach the pictures of the closet floor under the built in drawer units -- I hope it works.
Any ideas?
