hank, check to see if the tracks have somehow become 'stretched'
apart, or if there is some way to adjust the width of them. some are welded so you can't adjust them, and some are bolted in place with hefty bolts, so you can adjust them. make sure you don't have some bad rollers on one side that may be dragging ,,,, does it seem to always stick on one side?? that may indicate a bad roller,,, good luck,,,day, jax fla 83 pt-40 [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

Been there, done that, unfortunately. Have replaced sliding exhaust,
replaced drawer rollers, straightened and reinforced runners. Worst case scenario is a bit of a pain but doable. There are a number of things to look for and check. It is much easier to discuss on the phone than type. If you send me an e-mail off line with your phone number I would be happy to speak with you. --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "Henry Jay Hannigan" > any sp owners out there that may have had similar problem. when i > start to put the genny back in after being extended out, it starts to > go off track..i used to hold it straight when in went in so it would > not go crook ed..( is that how you say crooked??) one time i let it > go in and it stuck about a foot out and i had to un stick it with a > hydrolic jack...now i am a bit apprehensive about extending it out > more than a foot or so....any ideas??????? > thanks > hank hannigan > 90sp36 and lovin it! > in chicago at the moment |
