Driver's Side Front Bay Door Won't Open on 1993 Wanderlodge
Howdy.
The driver's side front bay door won't open on my 1993 WLWB. It is the bay that has the generator cooling fan in it. By lying on the ground, I have removed all of the **** from that compartment that I could reach from it's floor opening. But I can't get around that cooling fan. Facing the coach, I can see the rod moving when Liz pulls up on the outside latch but I can't see the rod on the far side of the door. So I don't know what it is doing. I am carefully removing the bolts on the very bottom of that entire compartment to ease the floor open a very small amount. Hopefully then I can see if that other rod is moving. Then maybe I can see if it is being stopped from moving by some obstruction on the floor of that compartment. Suggestions or ideas would be very welcome. Can you reach in from the generator side and stick your hand in with your digital camera and shoot some shots? I do that in tight places when I am remodeling to look for hidden wires.
Sounds like the rear (out of sight) lock is not disengaging or the body work is holding the door after it slide forward (maybethe collars with the set screws that set the fore and aft travel on the access door came loose and allowed it to move foreward or aft and bind with the sheet metal frame.)

Thanks for the suggestion. Took pictures and got some good idea of what was going on. I was able to move the rod on the left side of door over a little bit and that helped. I will get a bigger bolt to lower the compartment floor more so that I can take pictures of the right hand side of the door. Driver's Side Front Bay Door Won't Open on 1993 Wanderlodge

It is NOT the pass-through bay. However, Jack is making progress in opening up the floor in order to see what is going on in there. Thanks for the reply.
