Whittington Woods Campground in Benton, IL. --NOT

Dennis and I are Ins. Adjusting the storms in IL. We are in our 1985 classic bluebird wanderlodge in Mt. Vernon IL. We got our RV book out and found what sounded like a great place to camp in Benton IL. When I called to make a month reservation they ask me what kind of RV we have and I told them we have a Bluebird wanderlodge 40 ft. motor coach and then she ask for the AGE!!! Oh,,, and then she said sorry we are booked up till July 4th. I said hmmm are you really booked up for that long or are you just saying that because we have a 1985 bluebird. I knew the answer by the tone in her voice. I was insulted to say the least!!!!!! We have worked very hard to fix our wanderbird up and it is very very well maintained!!! That's like saying a clissic T-bird isn't welcome at the car show!!! I wouldn't stay at that campground if it was free!!!

We have run in to that same thing in FL. We have an 89 SP 36'. This one park park that we wanted to stay at in FL I emailed pix's of ours and it was just fine. They had said it could

You have to lie. I had a '71 vintage Airstream trailer and told those that is askedit was a '89 When I said it was pulled by a Cadilac Esclade they said 'come right in'. Unless you are a 100% RV expert it is impossible to tell one year from the other.
