towing the motorhome
I'm about to close the deal on an old one that's not running. We all have to
gamble a little, right?

Any suggestions on how to get it towed and where to find a place to park it in
an urban area where I can work on it.

Good luck on the deal. Someone might be able to respond a little more precisely
if we knew which model/length, and where you were located.

In general, as far as storage goes, I would say look for a storage facility that
advertises for RV and boat storage would probably be the best bet and first
place to start. I would look for one with individual lockable units, versus
just covered storage. That's what I store mine in to keep the homeowner's assn
happy. 12x50 pass thru with barn doors on both ends mean I can walk around the
bus, work on it inside in the shade without people seeing what is going on, and
leave the bus jacked up, and leave tools out when I need to go for a parts run
or just come back the next day.

As far as towing, call some tractor trailer tow companies. Most people want a
landall or whatever those flat bed carriers are called.

Again, good luck, and please sign your posts.
