Where is the fuse box?

Things must be gettting slow around here when all I need to do is try
and fix the fantastic fan on the roof of our 78 FC31. It has never
worked since we bought the coach. It is not getting power from its
feed line. I know it works because I sent it power from the battery
and the lights and fan both worked. My first thought is it must be a
fuse, but for the life of me I can't find the fuse panel, even though
my blue box says it's under the right front of the steering column. I
took off the front panel and there is a great mass of wires feeding in
and out of three strips, but nothing that resembles the fuse panel in
my book. Any ideas?

refrigerator problem last weekend. It's working great now! I'm going

area where opening button and thermostat is located. Maury 80 31' FC

In my '83 FC there is a load center behind the headlight on the driver
side, you would access it from outside by removing the screws around
the headlight and swing it out. I don't know if things are the same on
a 1978

John,

On my 86 PT, the fan operates from the dinette thermostat...I've seen a few
owners take the entire fan apart thinking it was defective, when all they had
to do was check the thermostat. Possibility in your case??

If you have a fantastic fan that has been installed in your coach in the
last several years the fuse is on the actual fantastic fan panel as noticed
by the small black fuse holder. In my 1982 FC35 I attached that fuse to the
switch just over the drivers seat that was OEM installed so with that
switch off there is no power to the fantastic fan.
