Generator insulator
I'm building a generator tray to hold my small 5kw generator. This
generator tray is to the right of the engine in my diesel pusher Bluebird. The exhaust pipe is routed about 4-6" from the underside of this generator tray. I need advice on what I can get to build some insulative sheilding so that my generator doesn't get cooked by my diesel engine or the exhaust pipe. I can build the framework, but I need some material that'll insulate and reflect heat. The best I can come up with is aluminum flashing. Suggestions? Steve 2 '98 Bluebird QBRE Partybuses |
