Detroit Diesel (electronic control display/screen) 2000 lxi

I've never been able to get the screen to display /come up and now I've
been told by Detroit Diesel that the display screen is burnt out and
that it'll work just fine if I were to replace it. They want 239.00
for the new screen and I intend to do it myself but I've been looking
at it and wondering how I'm going to get the old one out of there
without doing any damage to the mounting. Anyone done this?

We've had this coach for 2 yrs. now and have never been able to get the
screen to come up. We haven't really missed it but we would like to
have it working as we do have the coach for sale. The party that we
bought it from didn't demonstrate it and I got to thinking that maybe,
we just don't know how to turn it on. How do you turn it on.

Mine comes on with the ignition. You may have a blown fuse?
