Air Chuck

I noticed an air chuck on the wall of one of the basement storage
compartments. I imagine I could tap into this to fill tires etc. What
I would really like to do though, is put a small air compressor on it
to fill the air bags, tanks, etc without having to turn on the engine.
Will this work?

I can see a problem, in that I will be bypassing the air dryer. Is
this a valid concern.....a deal breaker?

Put a small air dryer on the portable air compressor. The best way to
pressurize every tank and facility is to hook in just after the detroit
a/c. That air port may be off of a tank that has a backflow valve
between it and a previous tank. I thought of doing this also but I
always do a engine warmup, brake check before moving anyway. I would
never put 40k in motion without a check or engine warmup. It is a
courtious thought, but what the heck- you are leaving anyway.

Steve:

The air line form a Gast air compressor should be run with a 3/8 copper
line, to the distribution block or manifold located near the input of the
"wet" air tank on your coach. Actually it will pipe air through your ad2
air drier to the tanks and conversely to all your air system. Also be sure
to add a check valve into the system to prevent back pressure to your pump.
You can add a switch on the dash to turn you aux air system on and off.
