Rick,

I replaced mine on a 85 pt40 relativly simple. I bult a ramp to drive
the mains up on using 2 2x8 which let the tags drope slightly. Set the
brake and block the tires for safety. Then remove the old air bags and
put the new ones in. 2 bolts on the bottom two on top with one being
the air line. I only had truble with one bolt and cut it with a
cutting tool. It was alot easier than I thought it was going to be.

Thanks, Rick, that seems like a good price. I wonder where we could buy them
in Ft Worth. Many thanks, also for checking on Sid. Ernie- in Montana

---John, Thanks for the info. I'am going to replace it tomorrow. The
bolts are really on there. I have sprayed them with PB lube and hope
that will loosen them up some. We are living in your neck of the
woods now, off of hwy 281 in Patillo,Tx.

I found mine in Ft worth. I needed them the same day so I was unable
to shop around I think I paid about 25 bucks more than the ones Rick
found, Im sure they are the same mine were Firestone bags. Rick I used
a air rachet and the bolts came off very easy exept for one.

--John, I was able to remove the 3 bolts and the air line but i
couldn't get the nut that holds the air fitting up. Need to find a
socket to fit. Going to try tonight to finish the job.
