20" LCD TV $389
Found this while surfing:
http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.asp...&whse\ =BC&topnav=&prodid=11043906 Never heard of the manufacturer, but I found 3 reviews all saying good things about the TV. Costco also has an extendable/swivel mount for $59. Think I'll drive by the store and see if they have it in stock tomorrow. Steve Harrie '86PT 38 with a 13" TV |

20" LCD TV $389
Steve if you can wait until right after christmas there will be some
fantastic buys in LCD tvs. They have already started coming down in price and I plan to replace my 19" regular TV with an LCD to go along with the satellite system I installed last year. My wife is a basketball nut and she likes the sharp pictures of the LCD so guess that settles it. tom warner 1982 FC35 Vernon Center,NY At 11:22 PM 11/26/2005, you wrote: >Found this while surfing: ><http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.asp...=1&wh\ se=BC&topnav=&prodid=11043906>http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?ec=BC-EC\ 3085-ProdID10047008&pos=1&whse=BC&topnav=&prodid=11043906 > >Never heard of the manufacturer, but I found 3 reviews all saying good >things about the TV. > >Costco also has an extendable/swivel mount for $59. > >Think I'll drive by the store and see if they have it in stock tomorrow. > >Steve Harrie >'86PT 38 with a 13" TV > > > > > >---------- >YAHOO! I did a little more research. The company that makes this TV (Envision) has been in the computer monitor business for awhile. They make lots of LCD's and CRT's for that application. This has PIP, and a port to let you plug in your computer, to use it as a monitor. What I like to do, is run my digital photos, via a "My Picture's" screensaver thru the computer or TV display. That way I get an everchanging personal photoshow. The screensaver is already on most computers if you have Microsoft operating systems: Start/Control Panel/Display/Screensaver/My Picture Slideshow [in the horizontal bar]. You can adjust the time each picture displays, and how long the computer waits before starting the show by clicking on "Settings". We have hundreds (thousands?)of pictures in our computer, this lets us actually see them. Steve Harrie St George, UT '86 PT38 |

Steve,
That looks good and should work great. I installed a 21" Sony in our '87PT38 easily with no modifications to the adjacent panels. You will probably be able to use a generic wall mount kit. Much less expensive than the Sony I had to use. Good luck.
