Congratulations!
Christina & Phil,
CONGRATULATIONS on your Bird Purchase. Did you get a toaster? -- Curt Sprenger 1987 PT38, Anaheim Hills, Calif. Greetings to all....Phil and I have graduated from "Wannabees" to "Newbees"....or, as Phil says, we're really still in the "DUH" stage! We flew to Dallas-Fort Worth courtesy of Wallace & Faye Craig (thanks again) on the 20th and picked up their well-loved '85 PT40. I still can't believe there's a Bluebird in our driveway...and she's ours!!! Many thanks to Ralph 'da man' Fullenwider for all of his help during this transition...and the send off, Wallace, was priceless! "On The Road Again" from their '95 musical horn at full volume...I'm sure the folks in Duncan are still talking about that! We landed safe and sound last night here in Oxnard. iWander is perched nicely amongst the strawberry fields and seems pretty content. We will be posting some photos of our journey in the near future. Again, thanks to all of the group who have helped us achieve our dream- we're looking forward to meeting you in our travels! Phil & Christina Corpus '85PT40 (she's blue and she has a clock!) PS Phil has registered on this forum as: iWander_85PT40 Be looking for him! |

You betcha; the four slice, dual control, slide out model. Of course, the
clock was the deal maker : >) BTW: what's the latest on the Julian rally? Hi Phil,
Oh ya, the clock. Got it! Latest on the SouthWest Rally. Julian weather may be a bit on the cool side early in the year. I plan to take a look at the Canyon RV Park in East Anaheim this next week. May have the rally there if the park will work with us. The rally will most likely be held the weekend before or after the Pomona FMCA International event in March. I have been busy. From a list of 86, I have made contact with at least 59 individuals. So far 32 are interested in a rally, have calls or emails out to 16. 11 no longer own a Bird, and no valid contact information on about 27.
