86 35 ft BB Question
Gail I think that one looks to good to be true. He doesn't tell you very
much about it. How old the tires are. If it has any problems to address. All
he says is he listed the mileage wrong. I would want to see it before I gave
any money on it or at least have someone near buy look at it too see if it
is worth the trip up from TX. If it doesn't too many problems its a good buy.

86 35 ft BB Question
YOU SENT A DEPOSIT??? Sounds like this seller is a scam artist. Did you
notice how he never ansered any questions. I wonder if the unit
actually exists. $20,000 is the bargain of a lifetime if it is as
advertised. A lot of the info is incorrect. The name makes me think it
is one of those Russian crooks. I am from Missouri. Let us know how you
make out.

Don't purchase it without a close inspection. If you are not very
familiar with RV's hire someone to do an inspection of the coach.
These are complicated machines. I definitely would not buy it from a
distance sight unseen.

86 35 ft BB Question
Gail,
Definitely have someone familiar with Bluebirds check it over very
carefully. If serious problems are found you can legitimately back out of
the bid because the condition was not as advertised.

86 35 ft BB Question
It looks to me as if it is a non-Ebay deal since the reserve was not
met in the auction. (or at least not a traditional E-Bay deal)

This BB is for sale by a very reputable dealer Sirpilla RV in Akron
Ohio. They made a mistake in the description regarding fiberglass
sides and roof. The reason they did not answer the questions is that
I already worked a deal and they ended the listing.

Yes I worked a deal on the phone and they ended the auction.

86 35 ft BB Question
Please excuse me for stating the obvious. But, after having looked
for a coach for a year, and travelled long distances 4 times only to
discover serious undisclosed flaws in RV's, the fact that you lose the
Ebay protection systems by purchasing outside of Ebay would make me
extra cautious. There's nothing that can substitute for an in person
inspection by an experienced eye.

86 35 ft BB Question
Gail,

Contrary to other input that you are receiving, I'm going to say it
appears to be a very nice coach from the shots of the exterior and
interior. Given the cosmetic appearance, we can only hope the prior
owner(s) were as diligent with the maintenance on the running gear and
operational systems. Seems to me that at the low price you quoted,
you can take some good degree of risk here. Since you are buying from
a dealer, and have obviously had conversations with them, you have
some recourse with state agencies if there were any material
misrepresentations - almost assuredly there will be some items in need
of repair as there is on all Birds. If you are not familiar with
Birds, I would have someone that is, look it over for you. Ralph
Fullenwider or Jeff Miller are two excellent candidates for that task
and it could be money well spent. If they found something major, you
could always back out.

Good luck on your purchase!
