5spd surprise
Yes, I was going to do that eventually. What happened was the
previous owner told me the tank was full, I drove 500 miles and the gauge had not even dropped to the 'F' mark. Not wanting to rely on the gauge and risk running out of fuel, I added 70 gallons and it went up(really down) past the little button. I shone a flashlight into the tank but I couldn't tell how close it was to full. So, I haven't driven it enough yet to start with a full tank and carefully calculate the consumption and correlate it with the gauge. What I'm really wondering is whether it's worth pulling the float mechanism from the tank, cleaning and checking it. But, with a tank this huge, it hardly seems worth it. Just fill up every couple of thousand miles. Kerry 82 FC 35 Denver --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "Scott" > > Kerry, sounds great about your coach and the tranny.
