You do have a differnt set up on the 84 then i do but i do have the same size
radiator as you do
and the 12 volt would not cool the radiator. I dont beleave you will get the CFM
with a 12 volt electric fan for proper cooling under a 50% generator load.

Since my gen set only has a fan with belts to crankshaft, no motor is
attached...am I missing somethin here (besides finding my teeth?)Wink
