Back up Camera AGAIN!

I just bought a brand new LCD 7" COLOR monitor, with camera with night
vision to replace the old one. Using the existing cable already there. Whole
package cost me $275.00 on e-bay. Beautiful picture!!! Also has the reverse
trigger to turn on cam/monitor when bus is put into reverse-or choose to
have on all the time! Came with all the cables, and power hookups. Really
neat system.

Also LCD monitor serves as an awesome replacement for the color tube monster
TV overhead. It has 2 additional inputs for DVD,VCR, ect.

I will post pics when I get it installed on my 81 bluebird restoration
pictures under the photos section.

I have been looking at some used Blue Birds. 3 of them had problems
with the BU system. One 1987 FC was very fuzzy and one 87 FC had a
faulty camera. Neither had the monitor in a good place: L.H.on the side
by the ceiling. I was thinking of buying a whole new system. I see them
at rvcams.com for reasonable prices. My question is: Where do the wires
from the camera run to the front? In the ceiling? Would it be hard to
fish new wires to the front? Does the headliner drop easily? Anyone
used the existing wires with a new system? I was thinking of mounting
the monitor on the dash within easy view. THanks
