I have been using biodiesel full strength B100 for over 10,000
miles combined. I make my own for less than $1.00 a gallon not
counting my time. When you first start using, you will have to
change out your fuel filters more often as the biodiesel cleans out
your system. Its a great solvent plus it easier on the atmosphere.
In addition, since it is derived from cooking oil, it introduces
much more lubricants into your system. With the government striving
to reduce emissions, they have mandated almost all the lubricants
out of diesel fuel. I have just introduced my bird to biodiesel the
last trip I took. So I would guess its about 20 % biodiesel / 80 %
diesel. But as I use the fuel, it will be taken upto to B100
level. I purchased a 93 Dodge w/cummings engine to test to make
sure it would not hurt before the bird got a taste. I still have
the 93 and purchased a 2003 model because the family needed more
space and it is using B100 now. I have not had any problems with
the fuel. But you will have to have an extra fuel filter with you
at all times till your system is cleaned out. You will notice a
slight change in response when the filter needs changing. On my
trucks, I change monthly as a preventive measure but they are used
