Generator
Jeff,

I am both happy and confused. You are right on target for the initial problem.
After charging awhile the gen tray works and the meter shows voltage. I
ventured to start the gen but it only grunted. I engaged the aux and it turned
over just fine. That means the gen batt was trying to turn it over. Maybe my
aux switch stuck on that one time when the starter didn't disengage after
disconnecting the gen battery.

If you have any suggestions as to why the gen starts and dies the first couple
of tries it would help. If I could figure that one out there would be no problem
with the starter staying in. It only does that when it has to turn it over a
lot.

Thanks again - Dave in Tulsa (84PT 40)
