Pulling trailer
I pull a 24' Pace American Big Foot, tongue length in, the over all is 62' with
my FC 35. I changed to a pintle type hook up as using a equalizer hitch will break the trailer frame when towing with a heavy duty vehicle. I was not comfortable with a ball type hook up with out the equalizer bars to help keep the hitch on the ball. Most trailer manufacturers don't warrantee against frame breakage if towed with a larger vehicle than a dually. Check the fine print on them warrantees, been there. I have looked at his website but I cannot see how he does it. By the way, are you at home now? Or still travelling? Bill Rob Robinson here. He has a few thousand miles or so pulling a trailer behind his rig. On 5/7/06, Wilhelmus Schreurs > > I am looking for responses from members who have towed an enclosed trailer > with a FC.
