Pulling trailer
I pulled a 24' enclosed Haulmark behind my FC35 (27' 1" w/ tongue),
around 7,500# loaded. No equalizer, never felt it back there (well,
it did slow down the freeway entrances LOL).

I did not use an equalizer hitch, a couple of good reasons:

1 The equalizer takes weight off of the rear of the vehicle by
distributing it to the front of the vehicle and to the trailer
wheels. The front of the WL models doesn't need and can't afford more
weight, neither can the trailer axles normally. That in addition to
what Mike H mentions about extra stress on the frame.

2 The tongue weight is exactly what most WL models needs, it puts
more load on the rear of the coach (tag on PT/WLWB models, drive on
FC/SP) for which there is plenty of capacity, and in the case of some
models with already too much steer axle weight it helps to reduce the
steer-axle weight. All WL models can in my experience use a little
weight reduction on the front axle.

just the trailer hitch.
