Quite a few years ago, a couple of guys bought 2 birds. Both thought
this was the way to go- to own a Bluebird. After all, the Bluebirds
were touted as the best coach going. BUT- these coaches were so complex
that we didn't have anyone to talk to about them. If we had problems-
who would help us? Call the factory? Who would talk to someone with a
20 + year old bird? I, for one, put mine up for sale. I looked at an
Executive in Washington that looked great- and was not as complex as my
first bird. Glad my bird didn't sell. Behold the birth of the
wanderlodge forum. Two guys- who didn't know beans about birds, but
were anxious to learn about them, started a group so we could get help
and offer advice.
Fast forward a few years- the two guys went their own direction, each
one believing what they were doing was right. And that belief was to
help other Bluebird owners or folks that wanted to learn about these
complex machines to understand them and with a support group of
dedicated individuals to help out in any situation.
Some of the group have considered, very heavily on their minds," do I
stick with a Bluebird "?or have my needs or situation changed?.
I'll use 2 examples: Blair- who is tall and needs a coach that can
accommodate his height and George Lowrey, who fulltimes and his better
half needs more room. Both guys purchased another brand of coach. The
knowledge base is still intact, that they possessed about Bluebirds-
should we dismiss them because they purchased another coach other then
Bluebird? I think not.
In a nutshell- we NEED all folks on this forum whether they have a
Bluebird or not. Thank you all for your support of the Wanderlodgeforum.
