Reworked Alternator Tag
On the standard alternator, BlueBird removed the tab between the
voltage regulator terminal and the positive terminal. This is an
external strip/tab, the one on the negative side stays.

This allows the alternator to sense voltage remotely and charge the
batteries at a more accurate charging voltage when there is a heavy
load.

If you install an alternator with this tab NOT removed, turning off the
master 12v switch will cause the coach electrical systems to be powered
through this tab and a small (16AWG?) wire, will burn up the wire if
there is any significant load.
