Need Help With 12 Volt Water System...
Thanks to everyone who responded to my cry for help. Your immediate
and insightful responses are greatfully appreciated.

The problem was a pressure relief valve that was mounted to the hot
water heater directly above the hot water drain pipe.

I removed the valve and droped the drain tube, went to a local
hardware store and found a valve with the same specs as the one I
removed. I was told that it is a very common valve. It fit into
the hot water heater and and with an adapter, fitted it to the drain
pipe.

Total cost -- $37.42US, not counting the teflon tape I had in the
toad.

A special thanks to my main man, fire-fighter Dave Hollis.

Well, enough of this for now. It's time to take a nice shower.

repair. Or, as I found with the same symptoms after fixing the
sporland valve, the hot water dump valve was defective. Either one
can cause the same symptom. That was on our '81 FC.
