230V Generator Fan Motor
Folks,
Thought I'd remind everyone to lubricate the bearings in the 230V Single Induction Fan motor which sits on top of the generator's radiator. The fan motor states that after 3 years of use, the user must lube the bearings with 10 drops of 5w-30 motor oil. I learned the hard way... Anyone know how often the powertech can overheat before causing major engine damage? My unit has a thermal cutoff switch which seams to work, but when she cut off the water temp gauge was reading in excess of 230deg F.
