FUEL TANK SENDING UNIT REMOVE AND REPLACE

You are right again, there is a cross member located just aft of the access hole, that I can feel when I stick my fingers under there, so lowering the front of the tank will be the way to do the remove and replace whenever I decide to do that, but when I have a lot less fuel in the tank, to deal with weight wise.
