Best camping near Washington DC and Montreal

Will be heading east with the Bird in a few weeks. What's the best
camping near Washington DC and Montreal? Found a website for Pohick
Bay Regional Park Campground in Lorton VA, and Camping Alouette near
Montreal. Any opinion on these places or others?
Anyone camped at Ashteague National Seashore?
