Maiden Voyage report

BlueBird did not use the standard Bargman wiring for the trailer
lights. I carry a "bluebird adapter".

You will hear the turbo whistle, that is normal with the 300hp
ATAAC, the tubing to/from the aftercooler transmits the turbine
whine. Use the sound to conserve fuel.

Pumping air brakes is bad, read the manual. You will lose air
pressure. If you follow the procedures for checking air-brake
systems, (required for a commercial license with air-brake
endorsement, and IMO should be required for driving air-braked
vehicles) you will find a test that is done with the engine off,
depressing and holding the brake pedal, and watching for either
gauge to drop.
