basement air conditioners
Ralph,
I have replaced the square metal filters because the foam had deteriorated. Am I to understand that there is another set of filters or screens in front of the evaporators. Where do I find the evaporators and how do I access the filters at the evaporators. Thanks, Howard Truitt Camilla, Ga. 86 PT40 ----- Original Message ----- From: Ralph L. They are a split system, condenser in the basement and the evaporator in the Coach. There are 3 of these systems in the Coaches. The screens are original with the systems and are important as it keeps dust/pet hair and the rest out of the coils. Or rather helps to anyway. I removed mine, cleaned them then I did wrap tape around the edges to help put them back in the proper place. Air flow keeps the icing down of course so cleaning them is essential. The are charged with R-22 and a little more fussy when servicing them but when done right, you can hang meat in the Coach Safe travels, Ralph and Charolette Fullenwider Ralph's RV Solutions, Duncan, Oklahoma http://home.swbell.net/rlf47/index.htm At 09:54 AM 5/27/2006 -0400, you wrote: >Guy, >Do you have the central air in the basement.
