That time frame is sort of a crap shoot figure. Ideally, the air should
stay up for several days. Your front and rear gauges only tell you about
the air break tanks and not the "wet" tank. The air comes from the
compressor to the air drier. From there it travels to the wet tank and the
wet tank feeds the front and rear air break tanks. There is a one way in
line valve to prevent the air flowing back to the wet tank from both of
those air break tanks. Everything else, suspension, air step, step well
cover, seat slid, air ride seats and so forth work from the wet tank. There
is no gauge for the wet tank.
