How often should the water holding tank be sanitized?
As you say, it depends... we do it a minimum of twice
a year. Keep in mind it is best not to run disinfectant thru the filter medium; that means you will need to find a way to bypass the filter and get the product directly into the storage tank(s), such as by adding a plumbing "T" to the existing tank overflow and permanently attaching a flexible, cap-able hose line.
