Changing Kool A Matic to Fantastic Fan

I just finished removing the Kool A Matic on our 1988 FC35 and
installing a Fantatstic fan. What an improvement. I have never liked
the Kool A Matic. Lets too much dust into the unit. They both move
about the same amount of air. I wired the new Fan/vent to the existing
wiring so it works off the dinette thermostat. An added bonus is the
corridor from the kitchen to the bathrroom is now 1000 % brighter.
Removing the old fan would have been an easy task except for the butyl
caulk that BB used to mount the Kool A Matic. Must be hurricane rated
as I had to use a wide steel pry bar to seperate the transition duct
from the roof.
