Bird won't start
Open the "T" handle drain on the front then use the
priming fump, fuel then it's the shut off, no fuel, then it's a broken line of clogged filter. If the pump handle springs back, clogged filter. You can put one hand on the solenoid, the other on the key, turn Ign on-off and feel a slight vibration, hummm like. Contrary to what has been said about the fuel shut off lever, I think down is off, up is on. You can remove the two screws, then with a screwdriver or rod depress the lever. Could be stuck down. I am possibly wrong on this but either way the lever has to go up and down. Fuel is shut-off to stop a diesel engine, nothing else.
