Generator Won't Start?
Mike,

Outside the voltage issue Curt mentioned, manually pulling the fuel
solenoid arm should have started it - if you are getting fuel. Have
you checked to see if you are getting fuel pressure at the output side
of the lift pump? Also check all the fuel line fittings to make sure
you don't have an air leak. Doesn't take much of a leak on a older
weaker lift pump to not get fuel to the injector pump. Spent hours
chasing the problem on my 83 PT40 before I checked the fuel pressure
and changed out the lift pump.
