Hi Bill,
Welcome aboard and congrats going from a "wanna be a"
to a "now I am a", you sound as happy as a proud papa.

On my '77 those two switches were just below seat level from the
drivers seat, on the '87 they were overhead on a panel above say your
left shoulder up high. Somewhere within arms reach of the drivers
seat you'll find them.
