Towing with a tow dolly

Several years ago I bought a dolly to tow a 65 Mustang Convert. You start out
clean, load and strap car down to the dolly and you have sweated enough that you
smell like a pulpwooder, needing a shower and clean clothes. I sold both the
Mustang and dolly.

I have now bought a 71 VW convert and am wondering how to tow it but I am sure
not on a dolly.
