CrossFires Dual tire equalization system? Pros, cons?
Liz:
I have used them on my 92 since I've owned it. They were installed by the previous owner. I replaced one unit when the guage quit working and I have another now that is not working correctly, but this is over a period of several years. The unit assures you of equal pressure in the pairs of tires on the drive axle and eliminates the chance that the inside dual is low on air and thus creating a blow-out. I believe that the factory will replace the units not working correctly. R.E. It bolts easily to the lug, hub cap, or drive axle > end. Properly mounted, air freely flows from one tire to the other, > maintaining equal tire pressure and load distribution." > > Do you use this product on your RV?
