Action Drapery Control
Jay,
Somewhere I came across info about a junk yard. It would have been a post or in
the archives. Someone maybe will see this and come back with more info. I think
someone had posted a response to an inquiry for a part and listed a yard that
had a Bird that had been totaled. You probably know of a local Junk Yard owner
that could put it on his system an maybe get you a hit. Wish I could be more
helpful.

Howard,

Thanks for responding.

The drapery controls can be bought new from Somfy. They are not the
direct replacements, they work a little different than the factory
ACTION DRAPERY CONTROL model DA/R.

I do not know of the Bluebird junk yard, tell me where it is...

E-Bay had a brand new one pass thru, sold for .99 + 8.10 freight
(dam!)

Tried Google, only ACTION DRAPERY that showed up was a company in
Texas that sold window coverings.

Really want to use the original equipment if possible. I know there
are several Birds running around that have replaced the draperys
with shades and no longer use the ACTION DRAPERY CONTROLs. Many
folks could not keep the ACTION DRAPERY CONTROLs working properly
and disbanded the system, leaving the ACTION DRAPERY CONTROLs still
attached to their Bird.

I have dash inverters and 1-wire marker lights to trade... :-)

Thanks again
