tank life expectancy

I am not sure. I only looked at the tank, I didn’t try to physically
check how deep the rust was. It is just a mater safety more than anything
else. If it ruptured, 40 gallons of propane could be a pretty nasty
explosion.

Do you really think you will have invest in a new tank?
the tank on our 77 is original still holds propane and we expect to
get a lot more years out of it and ours certainly holds more than 10
gallons more like 35-40 dependent on the weather
