Rich, Among your many skills, I can see you should have been a plumber instead of an electrician, LOL. I, too, have low pressure and removed the inlet valve and do not have a pressure regulator or strainer , just a check valve. I have been told that it is probably the sporlan valve that needs cleaning. Don't know where your sporlan valve is located, but mine appears (appears because I can't see it, but can hear it when switched) to be buried areound the pumps in an impossible area to reach without removing half the plumbing and charcoal filter.
