Hi Leroy,

Can't say for sure regarding your coach, but
typically the system is designed so that the 50 amp
power cord will draw power from 2 legs of shore power
and will power the two legs of the coach respectively
- that is, until you plug in the auxiliary 30 amp
plug. When any power is sensed from the 30 amp aux,
one leg of the 50 is lifted/disabled and the newly
sensed 30 is substituted for it. Therefore, if you
only used your aux, as I gather, you only fed one leg
- the other leg was waiting for you to plug a 30 amp
adapter into your 50 amp cord, power it, at which time
you would have both legs. In the future, to avoid the
problem and to receive power on both legs, plug a 30
adapter into your 50, power this 30 and do not use the
aux 30 at all.

The point of having the aux, is to permit use of two
separate campground pedestals of 30 each for total of
60 amps. We we speak of 50, we really mean 50 on each
leg, for total of 100 amps to the coach. Hope this
makes sense.
